In the interest of self-love, we thought it would be only fair to show ourselves some love. Lavender Moon is a passion project for us, one that fuels are creativity, and has given us an opportunity to connect with our community in a way that is equally inspiring and humbling. Throughout these last seven months, we have created a variety of products that aid in making life all the more magikal. Asking us to pick a top five is a bit like choosing a favorite child (or in our case, favorite student), but we took on the task of picking the five products that each of us connect with the most.
Michelle's Top 5
5th place: Empress Energy Candle
A staple in our candle line, Empress Energy smells like the goddess you already embody. When Natalie designed this candle, I was taken aback by her attention to detail and her ability to create candles that are fiercely unique and beautiful. Each Empress Energy candle smells like a garden of peonies. As if that wasn't enough, they are also individually decorated.
4th place: Warrior Spirit Energizing Spray
This is the latest product in our line, but took no time at all to become one of my most used. Warrior Spirit is designed to energize, inspire, and lead. With a base of tigers eye, red jasper, and moon water, the fragrances of lemongrass, mint, and a citrus blend completely change the energy of the room. I use this spray before I get to work in the mornings- lightly misting my room. I immediately notice the difference in my space. I am someone who has trouble getting started, making this a GAME CHANGER.
3rd place: Lady Body Candle
I LOVE working with candle molds. There is something so satisfying about making a candle that is shaped in a unique way. This mold in particular has my heart. Not only was it the first mold that we made, but the ways in which we use her are things I care deeply about. This lady body candle, although used for many things, is most commonly used for a divine feminine ritual. This ritual was created to help heal the wounds of the feminine in an otherwise patriarchal driven world. It's empowering and it means a lot to me.
2nd place: Anti-Anxiety Salve
I originally created this salve for a dear friend of mine that I worked with during my teacher days. A school environment is anxiety inducing in itself, but being a teacher brings added pressure of test scores, regulations, and unfair expectations. My friend was suffering from pretty severe anxiety that was crippling her. I took 6 weeks to infuse this salve with herbs of lavender, chamomile, and lemon peel. I put all of my magic and intention into it for those six weeks and really believed in the product. Her relief was evident, she swore up and down that this Anti-Anxiety salve was really changing her relationship with her mental health. When we first started Lavender Moon, it was a no brainer that this would be a staple in our product line.
1st place: Amethyst "Spirit Connection" Amethyst Oil
As a cancer moon, my family is incredibly important to me. Even the family that is no longer with us on the physical plane, This oil was created originally for me to use in my ancestral work. I worked with my ancestors to create this oil with the intended purpose of both honoring and connecting deeper to them. The first experience I had with this oil allowed me to connect with two family members from the other side. I was able to get clear messages unlike I had before. Now, as a daily tarot reader, I wear this oil as a staple perfume. It smells of frankincense and lavender and keeps me in constant connection with my spirit guides, and most importantly the ancestors around me.

5th place: "Harness your Heart" Lady Body candle
With the most recent full moon in Leo, I gained inspiration of creating based around the idea of leadership. "Harness your Heart" was a ritual idea collaboration with the intention of tuning into to your heart. As the candle represents a feminine body with her heart wide open. All good ideas and decisions originate in the heart center. When stepping into leadership, gaining confidence, and showing up in my authentic expression, this ritual is essential.
4th place: Intuition Salve
Before beginning any magical working-- from making tea, pulling tarot cards, or working with a spell or ritual, I always include a dab of intuition salve. Steeped for 6 weeks with herbs of wormwood, yarrow, mugwort, lavender, star anise, and copaidba essential oil-- these herbs bring the plant power of tuning in and listening to your intuition. I typically place the salve on my heart center and draw an intuitive symbol on my third eye.
3rd place: Ritual Bath in a Bag
While the bath bombs are a fan favorite, the bath ritual in a bag holds a special place in my heart. Michelle had the idea of creating herbal bath salts whilst avoiding the messy cleanup. Convenient, effective, and MAGIKAL. One of my favorite ways to show myself love is to take a ritual bath. The Ritual Bath in a Bag is the perfect set-- each bath ritual comes with an oil infused tea light and an intentional herbal salt blend. My personal favorite is the self-love. Rose and ylang ylang scented bath salts, with herbs of hibiscus, calendula, and rose petals, it simply smells divine!
2nd place: Sunstone Calendula Oil
The original of the Lavender Moon Oil collection is essentially the most used in my everyday life. The calendula sunflower oil is steeped for 6 weeks and is charged with sunstone and sunshine. I love this oil due to its multi-use purposes: using it on skin and cuticles, dressing candles with herbs, and adding it to my bath. This oil is a wonderful reminder to include joy and happiness in every way possible.
1st place: Tea Cup Ritual Candle
The Tea Cup Ritual Candle is a fluid design based on the practitioner's intention.
My favorite tea cup ritual is the manifestation. Typically scented with eucalyptus and lavender, garnished with 2 bay leaves. The idea here is to take the bay leaf, infuse your energy onto the leaf, and write your manifestation on the leaf. As the candle burns, the practitioner burns the bay leaf in flame of the manifestation candle. Tea cups, scented candles, herbs, and a ritual all in one; how can it not be my top fav!
As intuitive creators, we love sharing our products with our community. Taking the leap of faith to start Lavender Moon has been an irreplaceable journey that we are eternally grateful for. We can only hope to continue creating inspirational products and sharing the love of magik with you all.
